While commemorative firearms are most commonly associated with military units and law enforcement agencies, any organization, business, club, or group can design and order commemorative firearms, knives, or watches.

These custom items are an excellent way to commemorate deployments, significant milestones, the successful completion of demanding training courses, academy graduating classes, retirements, anniversaries, and other important achievements.

Project timelines vary depending on several factors, most notably how long your designated point of contact (POC) chooses to keep the custom ordering portal open.

A typical project timeline includes:

Design Phase: Approximately 1–2 weeks

Custom Order Portal Development: Approximately 1 week

Ordering Period: Typically 2 weeks to 2 months (determined by your group)

Manufacturer Production: Approximately 6–8 months after the order period closes

Overall, most projects are completed within 7–10 months, depending on the manufacturer and the length of the ordering window.

Every project begins with your organization designating a Point of Contact (POC).

The POC should email Info@CommemorativeWeapons.com with the following information or complete this Form:

• Name
• Unit or Organization
• Email Address
• Phone Number (if available)
• Mailing Address
• Preferred Firearm (Type and Manufacturer)
• Estimated Order Quantity
• Any Additional Comments or Project Details

Once we receive your information, we’ll coordinate with your POC and the manufacturer to begin developing your custom design.

The process generally follows these steps:

• Collaborate with your POC to develop the design concept.
• Provide a digital mock-up for review and approval.
• Make any requested revisions and finalize the design.
• Build a secure, custom online ordering portal for your group.
• Group members place their orders during the designated ordering window.
• For firearm orders, each purchaser selects their preferred FFL dealer during checkout.
• After the ordering period closes, we provide the POC with a complete order summary for verification.
• Once approved, the order is submitted to the manufacturer for production.

Production typically takes 6–9 months.

Upon receipt, every firearm is inspected for quality and accuracy. Photos of the completed products are provided to the POC for final approval.

After approval, orders are shipped directly to purchasers (knives and watches) or to each customer’s selected FFL dealer (firearms).
