Our story begins more than two decades ago, in 2001, when Marine Corps Major David Hensley founded Quantico Tactical in Quantico, Virginia. What began as a small part-time gun and gear store quickly earned a reputation for quality, integrity, value, and—most importantly—exceptional customer service among members of the military, federal agencies, and law enforcement community.
From those beginnings, the company grew into a trusted supplier supporting military and government customers across the country and around the world. Along the way, one principle has remained constant: take care of the customer, understand their needs, and deliver on our promises.
Today, that same commitment lives on through Proven Arms & Outfitters, the retail and e-commerce division created from Quantico Tactical’s retail operations. Proven Arms & Outfitters continues the tradition of providing quality firearms, equipment, and exceptional service to the military, law enforcement, first-responder, and firearms communities.

Over the years, we have built strong relationships with some of the most respected firearms manufacturers in the industry. Those relationships have become an important part of what makes our commemorative program different.
For more than 10 years, Proven Arms & Outfitters has proudly partnered with SIG SAUER, becoming their largest Military, Law Enforcement & First Responder dealer. Through that long-standing relationship, we have developed extensive experience working with SIG SAUER products and programs—and have earned a reputation as a preferred dealer for SIG SAUER commemorative firearms.
We have also maintained a relationship with Armscor / Rock Island Armory for more than 10 years, becoming their #1 commemorative dealer. Our experience with their firearms and commemorative programs allows us to help organizations create unique pieces that are meaningful, distinctive, and built to honor the people and events they represent.
